Army Sustainment Command personnel fanned out to participate in more than 25 Memorial Day events throughout the Western Illinois and Eastern Iowa Region May 22-31.
Maj. Gen. Patricia E. McQuistion, ASC commanding general, spoke at the All Veterans Memorial Association ceremony held at the Davenport Memorial Park May 27. Other senior leaders and color guard members participated in commemorations in Silvis, Moline, and Galva, Ill.; Donahue, and LeClaire, Iowa; and the Rock Island National Cemetery to name a few.
This year's most far reaching events were held in Hopkinton, Iowa, 90 miles from ASC Headquarters at Rock Island Arsenal, Ill.
