Describe your current position in 1-2 sentences.

As a member of a multi-functional team, I administer cradle-to-grave contractual actions on a variety of supply contracts throughout the Pacific.

Describe your professional/education background in 3-4 sentences.

Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering, North Carolina State University. Army Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Program.

Where do you call home? Do you have children/grandchildren/pets? What do you do in your spare time?

Hawaii has been my home since 2005, and I also worked for the State of Hawaii in the 1990s. Our family enjoys exploring Hawaii and living where we can surf all year. I volunteer with AccesSurf, an amazing organization which provides beach access for people with disabilities, adaptive surfing and ocean recreation at monthly "Day at the Beach" events on Oahu.

How does your job support the Soldier?

The acquisition mantra is 'right products, right time, right place and right price'… through Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous process improvement, we can also add "right process". Streamlining and standardizing our processes increases both the quality of our contracting actions and the satisfaction of our customers, the Pacific war fighters.
