RIA hosts Second Annual Prayer Breakfast

Army Sustainment Command Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Chuck Rizer (left) chats with Brig. Gen. Thomas Harvey, ASC deputy commanding general for operations, and Davenport, Iowa, Mayor Bill Gluba, prior to the Second Annual Rock Island Arsenal Prayer Breakfast at Heritage Hall, May 9. The event, coordinated by the Rock Island Arsenal Religious Support Team, featured remarks from Rizer, Harvey and Chaplain (Col.) Glen Bloomstrom, U.S. Army retired, who read from the Bible and presented a coin to Sgt. Dara Delong, ASC chaplain assistant. Local clergy also said prayers for peace, Soldiers and their families.  Entertainment was provided by members of the Augustana University String Ensemble.
