REDSTONE ARSNEAL, Ala. -- Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III, Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, recently visited the U.S. Army Materiel Command, where Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody commands.
Discussions included the industrial operating base, such as AMC's depot and arsenals, and their importance to the future of the Army and how it directly relates to the readiness of America's forces.
He also received a tour of the building from Col. Daniel T. Williams, director of AMC Public and Congressional Affairs.
