Age: 39

Hometown: Montgomery, Ala.

Years of federal service: 15 years combined (three years as a Department of the Army civilian, three years with the U.S. Postal Service, three months with the Defense Commissary Agency and nine years with the Defense Contract Management Agency), but has been with the command for four months

Education: Associate degree in business administration from Ivy Tech State College-Central Indiana (Indianapolis), and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in logistics and supply chain management at Athens State University, planning to graduate in 2013.

Marital status: Single

Children: No children, but my attention goes to my handsome nephews

Activities/hobbies: I like to visit family and friends in Montgomery and Indianapolis whenever I get the opportunity. I usually like to play video games, watch movies, listen to music and talk on the phone.

Favorite movie: I really like all types of movies, but my favorite genres are horror, action and martial arts. My favorite move of all time is Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon"

Favorite TV show: My favorite TV show right now is "How I Met Your Mother"

Favorite band: I listen to all music genres, but I like listening to '70s and '80s rhythm and blues. My favorite band is Kool and the Gang

Favorite thing about working for the Army: I am proud to be working and a participant of such a great association, and it allows me to give back in the capacity that I can. I am an Army brat, so Army is what I know. The Army has allowed me to travel and broaden my horizons when I was younger. I was born in Fort Campbell, Ky. I have lived in several places where my dad was stationed (Baumholder, Germany; West Point, N.Y.; Fort Bragg, N.C.; Heidelberg, Germany; Fort Lewis, Wash.) My dad is retired from the Army, and he is proud that I am a DA civilian. He is glad I am somewhat keeping the tradition.

What made you want to work for the Army: I had been trying to work for the Army for two years and finally got my chance when I relocated to Huntsville in 2009. I used to work for Army Materiel Command G-8 (resource management) as well as IMMC before my current employment
