CAMP SABALU-HARRISON, Afghanistan -- The surgeons general of the U.S military, British Army and Royal Navy visited the Detention Facility in Parwan, April 16, 2012, to tour the facility and meet with servicemembers. The tour started at the detainee services branch, followed by a walk-through of a detainee housing unit. The tour ended at the DFIP state-of-the-art medical facility, where the surgeons general recognized select members of Task Force Med. The tour was guided by the DFIP commander, Col. Robert M. Taradash, commander, Task Force Protector and Brig. Gen. Dash Jamieson, deputy commander, Combined Joint Interagency Task Force 435. CJIATF 435 oversees all detention operations in Afghanistan.
