JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- The senior enlisted advisor to the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff is scheduled to attend the 3rd Annual Commander Customer Care Symposium hosted by the 99th Regional Support Command at the Maj. John P. Pryor Memorial U.S. Army Reserve Center here April 14-15.

Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Bryan B. Battaglia will join more than 100 senior leaders from Army Reserve commands throughout the 99th RSC's 13-state area of responsibility for the two-day symposium designed to explain the services the 99th RSC can offer to the Soldiers it supports.

"I want to provide you the opportunity to shape the agenda to reflect your interests and concerns with the services provided by my Command," said Maj. Gen. William D. Razz Waff, commanding general of the 99th RSC, in a memorandum to potential symposium attendees.

Top leaders scheduled to join Battaglia and Waff at the symposium are Command Sgt. Maj. John Gripe, senior enlisted advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, Maj. Gen. Sanford Holman, commanding general of the 200th Military Police Command, Brig. Gen. Patrick Reinert, commanding general of U.S. Army Reserve Legal Command, Brig. Gen. Kenneth Jones, deputy commanding general of the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, Brig. Gen. John Donnelly, commanding general of the 3rd Medical Deployment Support Command, Brig. Gen. Alton Berry, deputy commanding general of the 88th RSC, and Brig. Gen. Jon Lee, deputy commanding general of the 63rd RSC.

The 99th RSC was activated in September 2008, replacing the former 77th, 94th and 99th Regional Readiness Commands in accordance with the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) mandates.

The 99th Regional Support Command provides Base Operations support to all Army Reserve Soldiers, civilians, families, units, facilities and equipment for the entire Northeast Region of the Army Reserve. This area of responsibility includes more than 300 Army Reserve facilities, 400 units and 51,000 Soldiers and civilian employees.

Specific services performed include management of human resources, logistics, finance, facilities, equipment maintenance, information technology and those well-being functions typically provided by Army installations. These are the types of services that will be outlined during this year's symposium.

Battaglia is also scheduled to host an Enlisted All Call April 15 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Timmermann Center here.
