ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. - Maj. Gen. Robert S. Ferrell, APG senior mission commander and commander of CECOM, thanked Nevil Shed for his "powerful words" on behalf of the APG community after the Black History Month Observance hosted by Team APG Feb. 29. Quoting Martin Luther King Jr., Ferrell said that "the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

"His strength started with his mom and that allowed him to achieve his dream," Ferrell said of Shed. "May all of us recommit ourselves to one another so we can benefit from one another."
