GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany -- Hundreds of sports fans lined up Feb. 1 as four members of the U.S. Women's Ski Team autographed photos, postcards and ski helmets.

Those waiting for autographs included members of the U.S. Army Garrison Garmisch community and guests of the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort.

The four female athletes received an enthusiastic round of applause from the crowded hotel lobby as they entered escorted by Sgt. Travis Watts, Garmisch Military Police.

The four team members, Stacey Cook, Alice McKennis, Laurenne Ross, and Leanne Smith are in Garmisch to compete in the International Ski Federation Alpine Ski World Cup.
