KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (January 22, 2012)--Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody, commanding general of Army Materiel Command, visited the Army Field Support Battalion- Kandahar, Jan 21. While there she presented Soldiers and Civilians with coins for their superior performance in support of warfighters in Afghanistan. Gen. Dunwoody made the stop in Kandahar as part of a multiple day trip to visit with Soldiers and civilians within the Army Materiel Enterprise.

"It was a great an honor for me," said Greg Headen. "I have never been a part of big Army and she meant what big Army is to me and what the 401st is. It was a great day for me."
