Unbeknownst to his girlfriend, trumpeter Spc. Michael Maccay arranged to propse to her midway through the 208th Army Reserve Band's annual holiday concert at the Newberry Opera House on December 10. Although the band and Spc. Maccay's parents were aware of the proposal, his fiancee, Rebecca Tutterow, was caught by surprise, thinking her name was randomly drawn to come on stage and try to play a holiday version of "Name That Tune."
