ISAF Commander observes close air support operations

Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan " Air crews from the 335th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron at Bagram Airfield provided International Security Assistance Force commander Gen. John R. Allen with an orientation flight to observe close air support operations and processes throughout the Afghanistan Theater of Operations, Nov. 17.  The mission allowed Gen. Allen to assess the operational impact of close air support procedures and the effectiveness of coordination between ISAF air crews and ground forces in Afghanistan.
