FORT BRAGG, N.C. (Nov. 8, 2011) Mrs. Ginny Rodriguez, wife of the U.S. Army Forces Command's commander, Gen. David Rodriguez, spent the morning visiting with The Army Ground Forces Band at its new training facility here.

After a long chat with Leslye Chambers, the FORSCOM band's Family Readiness Group leader and wife of 1st Sgt. Gunnar Chambers, Mrs. Rodriguez heard several of the band's various ensembles perform, which gave her an idea of the band's great versatility.

She also toured the building's many rehearsal halls and administrative offices.

During her capabilities orientation, she spoke with many of the band's Soldiers, asking them questions such as where they came from and why they'd joined the Army.

Mrs. Rodriguez thanked them all for their service and expressed her belief that many people have no idea of the immense training and talent that are involved for the band to perform its mission so professionally.
