The 12th annual Honoring the Veterans Pow Wow will take place Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fort Sam Houston Quadrangle.
The program includes a blessing at 10:45, gourd dancing at 11 a.m., grand entry at 12:30 p.m. and a closing at 4 p.m. It features Karen Bellinghausen, head female dancer; Robert Bass, head singer, and Mike Gonzales, master of ceremonies.
Food and craft carts will be available. No drugs or alcohol will be allowed.
Visitors may access the Walters Street gate and should be prepared to show their photo identification.
