The U.S. Army Contracting Command attended the Association of the United States Army Annual Conference Oct. 9-12 in Washington, D.C., with representation at the Army Ten-Miler and the U.S. Army Materiel Command exhibit.

ACC's Noncommissioned Officer of the Year, Staff Sgt. Matthew Shults, 409th Contracting Support Brigade, represented the command both as a runner and within the exhibit. Visitors to the exhibit were able to speak with small business program representatives about potential business opportunities; discuss career opportunities with Human Capitol (G-1) specialists and speak with both Shults and Soldiers from the 904th Contingency Contracting Brigade about their work in the contracting field.
