Tobyhanna Army Depot, Pa. - Blaise Kroll, electroplating worker, uses an overhead crane to dunk 16 sandblasted rims in zinc phosphate. The plating process creates a filament ofer the steel that protects the rims from rust and helps paint adhere to the metal. Once the rims are plated they are sent to the painting shop. Kroll works in the Finishing and Etching Branch, Systems Integration and Support Directorate.
