The Army Sustainment Command Historian's Office hosted a day at Credit Island, Davenport, Iowa, Aug. 31. The event allowed ASC Senior Staff to learn about the Battle of Credit Island, a 200 year old battle. These road trips, called staff rides, are designed as a learning tool for Soldiers to use history as a reference for current war conditions.
