Georgian Minister of Defense, Ambassador, visit Joint Multinational Readiness Center

HOHENFELS, Germany- Military officials and diplomats from the country of Georgia met with Georgian soldiers and their U.S. soldier and Marine observer/controller-trainers during an August 19, 2011 visit to the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. Georgian Minister of Defense, Honorable Bachana Akhalaia and the Georgian Ambassador to Germany, Honorable Gabriela von Habsberg, along with U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, Honorable John Bass, took the opportunity to spend time with the Georgia's 31st Light Infantry Battalion prior to their upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. The 31st is going through its second mission readiness exercise here at JMRC, the fourth Georgian rotation since last year.
