PRESS RELEASE: Army R&D;experts talk evolving Cyber landscape at LandWarNet

TAMPA, Fla. -- Cybersecurity experts from the Research, Development and Engineering Command's communications-electronics center will present developments in new technologies that support cyberspace operations during the LandWarNet conference here Aug. 22 - 25.

During the three-day conference, Giorgio Bertoli, senior engineer for CERDEC's Information and Networks Operation division and Stephen Lucas, chief engineer for CERDEC's Cyber Security and Information Assurance division will give a joint presentation to an audience of government and industry cybersecurity enthusiasts.

Bertoli and Lucas will focus on the work done at CERDEC that aims to enable cyber situational awareness, or CyberSA, through a collaborative cyber support approach; utilizing enhanced capabilities in network operations and network warfare.
