Maj. Gen. Michael D. Barbero (left), the general in charge of strategic operations for Multi-National Force-Iraq, takes time to speak with Roundup, Mont., native, Col. Paul E. Funk II, commander, 1st "Ironhorse" Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, about security improvements, reconciliation efforts and the way ahead in the Ironhorse Brigade's area of operations during his visit to Camp Taji, Iraq Nov. 7. Prior to meeting with Funk, Barbero's visit to the base camp also included a stop at the Counterinsurgency Center for Excellence.
