Brig. Gen. Tom Cosentino, deputy commander, Regional Support, NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan/Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan, Camp Eggers, Kabul, conducted a battlefield circulation of Regional Support Command-West from June 28-July 2.

Cosentino met up with Col. Bradley Booth, commander, Regional Support Command-West, Camp Stone, and some of his staff, throughout a series of key leader engagements with the local Provincial Reconstruction Team, Observer Mentor Liaison Teams, Police Observer Mentor Liaison Teams, and Afghan leadership in the Badghis province.

The purpose was to assess availability of land on which to construct temporary and permanent facilities for Afghan units in the 3rd Brigade, 207th Corps. And, to conduct site reconnaissance at other areas.
