ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Volunteering their time to salute the fallen, Army Sustainment Command officers and NCOs ranged far and wide to participate in Memorial Day 2011 events across Illinois and Iowa.
Eleven ASC Soldiers answered the call to speak at events sponsored by veterans groups and municipalities, ranging from the high school gym at Miles, Iowa, to the Hero Street Monument in Silvis, Ill.
