Ceremonies of saintly nature

Cleveland native Sgt. 1st Class Cheryl Terrazas, the Area Defense Operations Center noncommissioned officer in charge for the 1st Air Cavalry "Warrior" Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, speaks to those in attendance at an awards ceremony where she was awarded The Honorable Order of Saint Martin medal at Camp Taji, Iraq, Oct. 29. The award, which is hanging from Terrazas neck, is given to Soldiers who stand out among their peers in the Quartermaster Branch of the Army, said Terrazas. The Quartermaster General, Brig. Gen. Jessie Cross, was the final approving authority for this auspicious award. "My peers and subordinates in my regiment have recognized me for my commitment to my job," she said.
