The Army Reserve appointed a Manpower Assessment Team to review the mission and manning of two Army Reserve garrisons: Army Support Activity-Dix (ASA-Dix) and the Devens Reserve Forces Training Activity (DRFTA).
On May 24, 2011, the Manpower Assessment Team presented its recommendations to the Army Reserve's 99th Regional Support Command, ASA-Dix and DRFTA. The organizations are reviewing the team's recommendations. No decisions have been made at this time.
The intent of the study was to clarify core missions, ensure these missions are appropriately resourced, and identify ways of reducing or eliminating duplicative effort within co-located organizations.
