HEIDELBERG, Germany - Some of Hollywood's biggest stars have lit up the

silver screen for nearly a century portraying U.S. Soldiers in Europe.

Elvis, George C. Scott, Clint Eastwood, Gary Cooper, John Wayne, Bill

Murray, Gene Hackman, Tommy Lee Jones, and Sean Connery have all walked the

red carpet to showcase their films about the U.S. Army on this continent.

Now it's time to vote for your top five favorites at www.eur.army.mil.

The poll is linked on the homepage on the bottom right of the screen. Cast

your vote based on entertainment value, overall quality and realism.

As the U.S. Army has been in Europe for almost 100 years, potential top five

selections include everything from "Sergeant York" to "Saving Private Ryan,"

and cover World War I and II, the Cold War, and actions in the Balkans.
