MND-B's commander honors Taji troopers

After returning a salute, Maj. Gen. Joseph F. Fil Jr. (left), the commanding general of Multi-National Division-Baghdad, awards a coin to Spc. Jennifer Solano, the unit historian for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Brigade Special Troops "Centurion" Battalion.  The Olympia, Wash., native was recognized for her initiative during the Ramadan surge which included her role in helping with dismounted security on missions outside the wire.  Maj. Gen. Fil recognized a total of 10 Centurion Soldiers during his visit to Camp Taji, Iraq Oct.19.
