Grilling for CFC

Army Brig. Gen. Nolen Bivens, chief of staff, U.S. Southern Command, serves a hot dog to Luis Cruz, a Department of Defense policy officer, while Marine Maj. McClendon Waters, chief of staff executive officer, grills hamburgers and Shannon Ballentine, a Tri-County Combined Federal Campaign loaned executive, puts more burgers on the grill for Cheeseburgers for Charity Nov. 2. The charity fundraiser, part of the CFC which ends Nov. 15, raised just under $500 for CFC agencies. Members of SOUTHCOM have raised more than $50,000 so far.
