FORT STEWART, Ga. - More than 100 people joined the first-ever Stewart-Hunter Facebook town hall meeting, where attendees could address questions and concerns, from their personal computer, with senior garrison leadership, May 4.

"The Facebook town hall was a smashing success," said Kevin Larson, media relations chief. "It took the hard work of all the garrison staff working with the Public Affairs Office to make this town hall possible. "We enjoyed conversing with our customers, hearing their concerns and responding in real time."

According to Larson, a total of 138 questions were submitted and only nine went unanswered during the town hall. The 3rd Infantry Division fan page has all the questions posted on the wall under the most recent tab. Fans of the 3rd ID can read all of the questions and responses given by garrison leadership.

Plans are underway for the next town hall and everyone is encouraged to participate.

Larson said, "We're looking forward to doing this again."
