FORT BRAGG, N.C. (April 22, 2011) -- The Army Ground Forces Band's Jazz Guardians performed as one of the highlights of the WFSS-FM-sponsored Fayetteville, N.C., Jazz Appreciation Month, April 22. And by the end of the evening's concert, the eleven-member ensemble had given the Fayetteville, N.C., community a swinging taste of the highly polished and professional quality the U.S. Army Forces Command's band will bring to the region when it moves here permanently this summer from Fort McPherson, Ga. The AGFB will make the move with it parent unit in compliance with the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) legislation.
