Sen. Kirk, Rep. Schilling pay visit to Rock Island Arsenal

Maj. Gen. Yves J. Fontaine, commanding general of Army Sustainment Command, briefs U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk (left) and U.S. Rep. Bobby Schilling (right) during a visit to Rock Island Arsenal on Feb. 25. Kirk holds the Illinois Senate seat previously held by President Barack Obama and Schilling represents Illinois' 17th District. The visit was an opportunity for them to learn about the missions of Army Sustainment Command, the Arsenal Garrison, Joint Munitions Command, Army Contracting Command-Rock Island and the economic impact of the installation on the Quad-Cities area.
