Soldier Receives Knowlton Award

Lt. Col. William Kondracki, strategic planner, G3 plans division, awards Master Sgt. James Paltanawick with the Military Intelligence Corps Association Knowlton Award during his farewell ceremony on Jan.21. The award acknowledges Paltanawick's demonstrated excellence and superior support to military intelligence community throughout his career. Paltanawick is retiring from the G2 section of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/ Army Forces Strategic Command. He had been with the command since 2006.
