The buses provide free intra-Presidio transportation to students of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and other military personnel assigned to the post.

The system deploys six Blue Bird buses that operate weekdays during morning, midday and afternoon intervals.

Two buses are assigned to a Red Route to and from the upper to middle Presidio. Two buses are assigned to a Blue Route to and from the upper to lower Presidio. Two buses are assigned to a Green Route to and from the lower to middle Presidio.

According to the new schedule, morning service for each route begins at 6:40 and ends at 7:45 a.m. Midday service begins at 10:50 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. Afternoon service begins at 3 and ends at 5:15 p.m.
