Spc. Joshua Grant provides security for fellow Soldiers after the convoy turns around. To gain elevation, the road makes a horseshoe curve around the Titin River. The same road clings to the side of a mountain across the river. Drivers in this part of Afghanistan must be vigilant for not only falling rocks but falling roads; not to mention lurking extremists.
