WASHINGTON (Army News Service, Sept. 10, 2007) - The Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine is sponsoring a suicide-prevention poster contest through Sept. 30 for Soldiers in grades E1 through E4.
Submissions may be individual or from teams of up to five members with only one submission per person/team.
Posters should be creative and employ a dynamic message that focuses on general suicide awareness or a specific issue related to suicide, such as stigma, depression, getting help or helping a buddy. Any medium may be used to create the poster, but copyrighted material may not be used.
The winner may be asked for additional materials to include a high-resolution .jpg of the poster. Files may also be requested for computer-generated posters.
All submissions become the property of the CHPPM and may be used for educational purposes. The CHPPM reserves the right to alter poster designs.
