WASHINGTON, D.C. - Lt. Gen. Guy Swan III, commanding general, U.S. Army North and Fort Sam Houston, talks with conference attendees visiting the USARNORTH display booth at the annual Association of the United States Army meeting and exposition held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in the nation's capital Oct. 26. The display highlights USARNORTH's mission and capabilities, and highlights the importance of the Army's domestic role in homeland defense, civil support and theater security cooperation. Swan also spoke about the capabilities of some of USARNORTH's specialized vehicles and equipment, such as the Emergency Response Vehicle, and about disaster response assets and personnel stationed throughout the continental U.S.
