In Sept., 18 students from Nepal travelled to Selfridge Air Force Base, Mich., to receive HMMWV operator and maintenance training.

The group will be operating and maintaining 10 up-armored HMMWVs they received through the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command as part of a Foreign Military Sale.

USASAC implements approved U.S. Army security assistance programs, including Foreign Military Sales of defense articles and services to eligible foreign governments. The command manages more than 4,000 FMS cases valued at more than $60 billion. USASAC also manages the Army's co-production program.
