Crests cast at Arsenal

Army Sustainment Command's Command Sgt. Maj. Stephen Blake (center) and Col. James Fly, Joint Munitions and Technology Center commander, examine a casting made by Jeremy Schaack and his fellow JMTC workers at the Rock Island (Ill.) Arsenal. The casting is the first of four command crests - two of ASC and two of the Army Materiel Command. Each casting weighs several hundred pounds and is made from recycled weapons parts. They will eventually be mounted at the ASC headquarters building and a nearby operations building.
