Black Jack inducts new sergeants

FORT HOOD, Texas- First sergeants from the 15th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, pray during the invocation at the start of the 15th BSB's Noncommissioned Officer Induction Ceremony in the Club Hood Ballroom on Fort Hood Oct. 7.  The ceremony recognized ten new NCO's into the NCO Corps.

Gregory Brown, Sgt. 1st Class Kenneth Pierce, and Sgt. 1st Class Robert Clingerman, all with the 15th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, stand in front of candles during the 15th BSB's NCO Induction Ceremony in the Club Hood Ballroom, here, Oct. 7.  Each NCO said a few words pertaining to the history of the NCO corps, and then each of them lit a different colored candle representing an individual distinction of the NCO Creed.

Each inductee was given a framed certificate with the NCO Charge printed on it and a copy of The Army NCO Guide.
