FORT LEAVENWORTH, KAN. - During a Fort Leavenworth visit earlier this week, Brig. Gen. Paul E. Funk II demonstrated the U.S. Army's new Army Training Network 2GO (ATN2GO) mobile stand-alone application to Lt. Gen. Mashal Al-Zaben, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces.

Funk, who is Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army's Combined Arms Center-Training, hosted the Jordanian delegation for lunch and several briefings. The Jordanians were learning about intellectual and educational activities at Fort Leavenworth to help them get ideas for transforming the Jordan Armed Forces.

The new ATN2GO app that Funk was demonstrating allows Soldiers to view Army Training Network videos, manuals and other training tools from an iPad, iPod, Android or other mobile device - even when they don't have an Internet connection. The stand-alone app is free and can be downloaded from the Army Training Network (https://atn.army.mil).

Based at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., the U.S. Army's Combined Arms Center-Training delivers training programs, products and services to leaders and units in support of Army readiness. Wherever Army training occurs, the Combined Arms Center-Training helps make it happen.
