HEIDELBERG, Germany - Installation Management Command-Europe officials announced that a representative from DFAS-Cleveland will travel to Europe in October to help retirees and annuitants with pay issues and provide one-on-one audits of their pay records.
"This is an opportunity for Retirees and Annuitants from all services to sit down and conduct a face to face audit of their Retiree finance records with a representative from the Defense Finance & Accounting System, Cleveland," said Mike Malone, IMCOM-Europe Retiree Services officer.
Malone explained that the representative will be able to correct/change/add/delete 99 percent of all requested actions on the spot - actions include - tax information changes (both State and Federal), change of correspondence mailing address, arrears beneficiary information, start/stop/allotments, banking information (ensure to bring all account and banking information with you) SBP beneficiary information.
Below is the planned schedule:
Oct 15: Ramstein - at the RSO Office across from the ID Card Office (from 9 a.m. to noon).
Oct 16: Heidelberg - at the (RAD) Retiree Appreciation Day - PHV Pavilion
Oct 18: Kaiserslautern - Kleber Kaserne, bldg 3245, room 6 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
Oct 19: Baumholder - bldg 8681, Conference room (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
Oct 20: Spangdahlem - bldg 307, Computer Room (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
Oct 21: Schinnen - HQ bldg, RSO Office (9 a.m. to 1 p.m).
Oct 22: GrafenwAfAPhr - bldg 244, at the (RAD).
Oct 23: Schweinfurt - at the (RAD) - Conn Bks, Bldg 40.
Oct 25: Ramstein AFB - at the RSO Office across from the ID card office (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
Oct 26: Wiesbaden - bldg 1023W, RSO Office, room 106 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
Oct 28: Vicenza - Luna Bubble Bldg 340 at the (RAD).
Oct 30: Benelux - at the (RAD) at the chapel Bldg 601 on SHAPE (from 9 a.m. to noon).
Individuals should check with local RSOs for the hours of these events. At most of the locations, the times will be from 9 a.m. to approximately 2-3 p.m., unless otherwise indicated above.
