TRiPS has a new feature that helps Soldiers, Civilians and their supervisors discuss travel plans more effectively.

There is now a comment section on the "Review" page of the assessment. Here, Soldiers and Civilians can share information about their trip with their supervisors. Feedback can also be provided by supervisors when they approve or disapprove the assessment. This two-way communication can capture details and guidance to ensure the trip is a safe one.

TRiPS is a mission planning tool, and the trip is the mission. This program won't prevent accidents, but the assessment is designed to reinforce common sense driving such as staying alert, not drinking, getting adequate sleep, wearing seat belts and slowing down.

Users can also read about accidents that happened to real Soldiers.
