Fort Riley Soldiers sign Army Community Covenant with Saline County

SALINA, Kan. - Spc. Harold Gallagher, a Soldier with the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, his wife, Tomomi Gallagher, and their two children, Sara, 7, and Andrew, 5, sign the Saline County Army Community Covenant Aug. 4 in Salina, Kan., as members of the Fort Riley command group, CAB Soldiers, Saline County commissioners and community members look on. This covenant signing was the first between Saline County and Fort Riley, Kan., and marks the official start of the partnership between the two. The Army Community Covenant signing publically demonstrates the CAB and Saline County's pledge to support each other. This signing took place before the start of the Tri-Rivers Fair parade in downtown Salina, Kan. Army Community Covenant signings will take place across the Central Flint Hills region in Kansas through October.
