Fort Riley, Kansas Land Trust, Moyer Ranch sign conservation easement agreement

FORT RILEY, Kan. - Rodney Moyer, president of Moyer Ranch, Inc., and Catherine Hauber, president of Kansas Land Trust, Inc., stand next to a signed agreement dedicating 6,647 acres of land to a conservation easement, July 22 at the Moyer Ranch near Fort Riley, Kan. By signing the conservation easement agreement, Moyer agreed to suspend any future development of that land. Also signing the agreement were: Sec. Mike Hayden, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, Jeffrey Gross, assistant state conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Col. Kevin P. Brown, Fort Riley garrison commander.
