REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - The new SMDC/AIDB (Space and Missile Defense Command/Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind) Satellite Supply Store will have its grand opening Tuesday, July 27, at 10 a.m. in room C212 of building 5220, Von Braun Complex, here.
This satellite store will be very similar to the base supply store but on a smaller scale. Employees will be able to browse the store for supplies and purchase them on site using a government purchase card. The sales associate can assist in getting additional items stocked if necessary.
The satellite store will be open to customers Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
The grand opening will include a ribbon cutting ceremony and light refreshments.
