REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala.--The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) recently had its annual Organization Day, celebrating with team competitions, children's games, bingo, dancing and a barbeque feast.

Taking place at the Arsenal Lodge and nearby athletic fields, the day began with a sand volleyball tournament, a softball tournament, and horseshoes.

Meanwhile, closer to the lodge, a children's activities pavilion had been set up to accommodate a variety of games for children of all ages. Employees brought their children to create spin art, go "fishing," play a Little Debbie cake walk game, create sand art, eat cotton candy, and have their faces painted. Children earned prizes and their overall reaction was one of complete delight.

Adults had the opportunity to play bingo in the lodge in the morning, and around lunch time many employees and children began line dancing.

After a delicious barbeque lunch, contestants in "SMDC Idol" entertained other employees with their various performances. Dancing pursued, and a great time was had by all.
