Army Team wins 2010 George Washington Parkway Classic McArthur Cup

From left to right: Maj. Gen. Karl R. Horst, (left) commander of Joint Force Headquarters National Capital Region and The U.S .Army Military District of Washington presented The George Washington Parkway Classic McArthur Cup to Chief Warrant Officer 4 Robert Denmark and Lt. Col. Torry Brennan along with Doug Vujcic, Arlington Office Site Executive, BAE Systems on June 21, 2010. The 10 mile road race was held on April 25, 2010. The McArthur Cup goes to the military service team whose 5 fastest finishers have the lowest combined time. Denmark and Brennan were members of the Army Team that won the race. Team members unable to attend the presentation were Lt. Col. Lenny Kress and Heather Kress. BAE Systems, one of the race sponsors provides the Cup that is passed to the winning service each year. An Army team has won this race previously in 2004, 2008, and 2009. BAE Systems, one of the race sponsors provides the Cup that is passed to the winning service each year.
