"The history of the U.S. Army stretches back to June 1775; our nation recognized the need for a fighting force even before the signing of the Declaration of Independence," said Dill, U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden's commander. "Our Soldiers have proven their mettle time and time again -- 235 years of success in defense of our nation."
