Despite the brief rain showers, more than 30 people showed up to run in the Redstone Arsenal 5K Fun Run May 21.

Several people from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command family participated in the run. They were Dottie White, public affairs specialist; Robin Stuart, G2 Intelligence Division chief, and his 10-year-old son Jackson; and Juan Garcia, legal.

White was the first woman overall to complete the race and won her age category with a time of 24 minutes, 30 seconds.

Jackson Stuart also won an award for being the youngest runner. He said he ran his best time ever. He ran the race in 23 minutes, 21 seconds.
