USASAC attends Colombian Armed Forces Aviation Program Management Review in Bogota

BOGOTA, Colombia - Representatives from the U.S. Army Security Assistance attended the Colombian Armed Forces Aviation Program Management Review in Bogota, Colombia, May 4-6.

The U.S. Military Group, Columbia and the Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command's Security Assistance Management Directorate and the Security Assistance Management Office were also in attendance.

Participants from USASAC, AMCOM-SAMD, USMILGP Colombia and the Colombian Armed Forces reviewed all Colombia aviation open Foreign Military Sales cases, case performance and discussed program issues with counterparts.

Since the PMR of April 2009, AMCOM has delivered more than 30 aircraft to the Government of Colombia.

The Colombia Vice Ministry of Defense Alejandra Arvelaez attended the PMR out-brief and praised everyone for their efforts in supporting the Government of Colombia fight against narcotics trafficking, terrorists, kidnapping and illegal armed groups.
