FORT STEWART, Ga. - The 2010 Army Emergency Relief Campaign slogan is "Helping Maintain Army Strong." This was demonstrated by the generosity and community-mindedness of our military Family as stated, said Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Phillips, 3rd Infantry Division deputy commanding general-rear. The AER Campaign kicked off March 1 with the goal of 100 percent solicitation and $125,000 in donations. The campaign successfully achieved 100 percent solicitation and raised $146,139 in donations from 3,361 contributors, comprised of active duty servicemembers, retirees and civilians.

The AER Campaign provides an opportunity for the community to give back to our proud warriors. AER's mission is to provide emergency financial assistance to Soldiers and their Families in a prompt, professional and nonjudgmental manner. The campaign also promotes awareness of AER benefits and programs that are available to active duty Soldiers, retirees, widows and Family Members.

Sincere appreciation is expressed for each individual and campaign coordinator that contributed to the success of the campaign in achieving the goal of Helping Maintain Army Strong.
